"The absolute highlight of my trip! The lovely reception staff upgraded my room because there was reports of a draft in my original room and they didn't want me to get cold, so I was put in a room so spacious I didn't know what to do with myself! Incredibly comfortable, close to town, wonderful staff."

Mixed Feelings About My Stay

small room inconvenient bathroom

The staff was friendly and helpful, that was something i did appreciate.

Unfortunately, the room was not as expected. It was much smaller than it looked online (i hoped for more space). I also found the lack of an en-suite bathroom inconvenient. It made getting ready a bit of a hassle. There was a constant noise outside, i think it came from the street, made falling asleep difficult.

quiet area quick access lovely wallpaper helpful gentleman

The location proved convenient, providing quick access to the center by foot. Parking was available (a definite plus). The area was quiet, and the rooms featured lovely wallpaper. I found the gentleman who checked us in at a nearby hotel kind and helpful.

The room I booked changed without notification. I had problems climbing to pass urine.

The rooms had ample space. They were quite clean and offered a comfortable environment. Staff at the Lawrence check-in were nice and helpful.

The shared bathrooms required maintenance occasionally.

inconvenient parking thin walls

I must say I found the lack of parking quite inconvenient. Securing a spot nearby proved difficult. the noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable. Soundproofing needs improvement. The thin walls. Earplugs are essential. I would expect more from this type of hotel. More attention to detail is crucial.
